How do I play word chain with a friend online?

How is the winner decided?

More words solved wins. If that's equal, fewer hints wins. If that's equal too, the faster time wins.

Can we play on the same device?

Yes. Chain Reaction has a two-player mode for one phone or laptop: you take turns guessing from either end of the chain.

Do my friends need an account?

No. Nobody needs an account. The link carries everything the game needs.
